Classes
SEMESTER CLASS: Each fall and each spring, there are semester drawing classes in the studio. These classes build a good foundation for all forms of art. These classes are taught with a classical approach to drawing. By teaching the use of our tools in recording what we see, the drawings begin!. This class is for complete beginners and for artists who want to practice and refine their drawing skills. Students will have the opportunity to learn skills using graphite pencils, erasers, and papers. This class helps students move past the fear of white space and create images on paper. We focus on line, shape, positive/negative space, and light on form. This is the best class to start your journey of drawing in the studio!!
PRIVATE LESSONS: Private lessons are perfect for the one who wants to work on a specific element of drawing or painting. These classes are usually one to two hours each.
Events
Events encompass workshops that I may schedule because of the interest from different persons. I may be an adult drawing class, a watercolor workshop, or an on-sight journal sketching time.
Events also entail the special gatherings that you might dream of having! It might be a birthday party celebrated with making a mosaic or a watercolor or it may be learning to sew your own journal. Call me and lets plan something together!
